"Absence makes the heart grow fonder."
I don't know what half-wit wrote that crap, but nothing could be farther from the truth. I am happy to give advice when asked, but normally, I don't give unsolicited opinion. I will now, because I am learning first hand. If you get married, don't live apart, for ANY REASON. You know, it really bothers me that these women whose husbands are in the service tell people how much they love and miss their men while they are gone for years at a time. Meanwhile, I am here at school, and my wife is in Dallas. Over time, she has grown apart from me, and is now questioning our relationship. I just wonder how things like this can happen. She says that I am an amazing person, and I deserve a wife who can be more loving (at least more loving than she feels at this time), then at the same time, I am telling her that I will work through any issue with her. Am I crazy, or would any person on earth, who felt another person was amazing, and that other person pledged their undying love, wouldnt any person take that in a heartbeat? It seems to me to be an ideal situation. I think I am done worrying about this. What will be, will be. I have to give her her space, and hope that things work out. My faith is in God, and the power of true love. Wherever you are, MaryBeth, I hope you know that I consider you my one and only, and I will always be here for you.
