Return to Glory

I know, gone forever.  Whatever, Im here.  Let it go.  First and foremost, pics of my new pad are online.  Go to http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jersey_51/my_photos and clic on the "My Place" album.  Hope to see all of you out here asap.

So I saw this car on the highway the other day on the way to work.  It was painted with Dale Earnhardt insignias, the number three, and things of that nature.  That seemed so radical and idiotic to me.  Imagine this guy pulling into the employee parking lot, and defending his fantacism on a daily basis.  To me, this is so unprofessional.  It is akin to wearing a pinstriped suit with "JETER" on the back.

I don't reall have a ton to talk about tonight, I just wanted to post the URL for my new place.  Tomorrow I drive up to the Bay Area.  Gonna see the wifey.  I'd love to give a report on our status, but the truth is, I have no idea what is going on.  We haven't really spoken in about a month.  Sure, we communicate here and there, but nothing of substance.  I really hope to spend some time with her this weekend.  I've decided to just go into limbo.  I can't control how things are, so why try?  I can't be the determinate of her feelings, so why try and influence them.  What will be, will be.  If she relocates her love for me, that will be fine, and I will be here for her.  If she decides that our separation is best as a permanent thing, then that will have to be ok as well.  I respect and love her, which means respecting her current wishes, which include me being a non-factor in her life.  In the meantime, I live.  Plenty of things to do down here, none of which need to include a woman in my life.  I guess you get used to having someone, and you panic when they are gone.  However, I can't imagine being with anyone else, so it looks like I'll just be alone for a while.....and that's ok.  Thanks again to all my friends and family who have supported me over time.

Soooo, big shocker.  G Dubya went into Iraq with bad information.  Essentially, the CIA told him they had WMDs over there, and rather than confirm, he went charging in.  900 American made coffins later, we are still there, erecting a puppet regime that will some day provide us with a friendly negotitor when importing oil, and exporting industry.  Big American business can't be expected to reach new profit highs unless we set up more and more capitalist societies.  That is really the bottom line here.  I guess I grow tired of the games and the shady dealings, this giant curtain over reality that the politcal structure erects to separate the general public from the truth.  Look, Im not a bleeding heart liberal, calling for the heads of Republican leaders.  And Im not a crackpot conspiracy theorist going on and on about black choppers and such.  I am basically tired of lying.  Politicians basically look us all right in the eye, and lie.  They lie their asses off.  For 90% of the population, that is fine.  It is like a giant sedative, and the eat it up willingly.  Taking everything at face value is a very relaxing practice.  However, for the 10% of us with a brain in our heads, it is just a slap in the face.  They know it, but there aren't enough of us to make a difference.

I know I harp on Dubya, but the guy proves what an idiot he is more and more.  His latest gem, "Maybe Iraq didnt have weapons of mass destruction, but they had the means to make them.  They had the intent to make them.  And they hate America."  Well George, good thing you got rid of that guy, because there isn't anyone else out there who fits the description!  Dumbass.....
